Its 2″ protective tape adds an extra layer of protection by reflecting light in poor conditions. Contrasting, fluorescent, 4-1/2″ sections with reflective tape further enhance visibility. Tape reflects light in poor conditions and at night while the contrasting orange and yellow fluorescent colors heighten visibility.
